When you explore alternative countermeasures, understanding the relationship to the various environmental concerns of the organization is mandatory in today’s highlighted climate change, conservation, renewable energy, green living, protecting our water resources, recycling and the personal environment for all customers and employees. This results in 14.69% of Unaccounted-For Water (UFW), versus an AWWA standard of 10%. These losses represent a potential COPQ of $1.59MM per year in lost revenues per percent UFW.
